The proposed presentation will also draw on her more recent experiences as the Safeguarding Project Coordinator for the Perth Catholic Archdiocese and Creating Child Safe Organisations work. While she will not spend much time on the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse the inquiry will provide the context for the day’s agenda as will the global recipe for crime and how this fits into child sexual abuse offending in churches. All clergy are strongly urged to attend and too bring one or two parishioners involved in youth ministry. The numbers for the workshop are limited to 70. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
